The Cunard cruise company - Cunard Line Ltd - is a British-American luxury cruise line from England UK, established as a shipping company in 1840. Cunard cruise line has always been associated with its regular express "Cunard Transatlantic Crossings". They include weekly operated affordable cruises from UK to USA - from Southampton to New York, and reverse.
The oldest cruise line in the world, Cunard Line celebrated its 170 anniversary on Jul 21, 2010. The Liverpool ceremony was honored by the presence of HRH the Duchess of Cornwall, on board ms Queen Victoria. Since 1998, the company is fully owned by the world's largest cruise ship operator - the Carnival Corporation & plc (its division Carnival UK). Cunard is a member of the World's Leading Cruise Lines Alliance (WLCLA), along with Carnival, Holland America, Seabourn, Princess, Costa.
