See the long list of the largest cruise ships in the world (including passenger vessels under construction) owned by the best  cruise line companies. See more on this subject at our cruise ship dimensions survey.

Starting with the world’s largest passenger ship ever built, our “biggest cruise ships list” includes the following big cruise companies – Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, Cunard, Princess, MSC, Disney, Celebrity, P&O, Costa and AIDA. These fleets boast so many vessels with a gross tonnage of 100,000GT+.

The largest cruise ships list should always include the name “MS Carnival Destiny”. Majorly refitted and renamed “Carnival Sunshine” in 2013, she was the first passenger ship ever to surpass this “enormous weight” barrier in the distant 1996. Yep, and now she’s at the last position!

List of Largest Cruise Ships in the World

World’s largest cruise ships belong to the world’s largest companies. Typically, these lines and operators offer the cheapest rates with short deals and cheap affordable packages (often part of discounted special offers and promotions). The family fun with their children cruise free promos (double occupancy always required) are another best feature of the world biggest ships.

Due to their huge capacity and numerous one-destination sailings, largest cruise ship lines can totally afford to dump prices and allure their guests with so special offers a few of them can refuse! In the table below, ship-links lead to detailed itinerary and schedule (with prices PP), and also show the ships current position at sea. Enjoy our data! ;)
