Singapore Ship Cruise
Singapore cruise ship prices, itinerary, schedule. Information on the two Singapore cruise ship terminals, and the best cruise ships and lines from Singapore. Singapore cruise deals prices in US dollars Per Person (double occupancy).
The new Singapore International Cruise Terminal (ICT) is located at "Marina South", and it eliminates the difficulties many passenger ship operators had with the old Singapore Cruise Centre (height and berth limits due to its location in a narrow channel with numerous bridges). The ICT location has deep waters, a large basin for ship maneuvering, and no height restrictions. Some data - construction began June 2008, total area of 28,000 sq-m, budget US$390 million, can host even the largest passenger cruise ships of up to 220,000 tons, with length up to 1,200ft, and draft up to 38ft. The estimated ICT capacity is 1,6 million passengers a year, offering jobs for over 3,000 local residents.
The old Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) is located in the south of Singapore. Built 1991, upgraded 1998, it has 2 terminals - "International Passenger Terminal" (IPT, 2 berths of 310 and 270 m, height limit 52m, draft limit 12m, upgraded in 2005, renovated 2008), and "Regional Ferry Terminal" (RFT, 6 berths). The SCC total capacity is over 7 million cruise-ferry passengers a year, about 1 million of which are cruisers. Integrated with Singapore Cruise Lines Ships List.
